Easter Break

I decided over the Easter break to focus on my studies since exams would still be held in some way. During this time I was notified of a Spring Sale on the Unity Asset Store so I decided to browse around, hoping to find something that could help me in the short term with my project or something long term in game development hobby. After some searching, I stumbled upon DOTween pro, a visual animator editor that allows me to animate gameObject properties without the need for scripting, such as move, fade, rotate, etc. Besides being highly rated and recommended by a lot of Unity users, a quick look at the provided tutorial showcasing a particular feature that I remembered Genevieve and Aine hoped we could do for the game - the ability to animate the text to look like it was being typed as the scene played. Not only would this feature add to the 'retro' aesthetic of a life simulation we have been aiming for in the game (alongside the vaporwave music and old school mouse click sound effect), but it would add more interactivity to the game besides the simple point and click mechanic we have so far. While there are some aspects of the game I need to get back to first before dipping my toe into animation, I am glad this Unity asset came with an easy tutorial for me to follow afterward.
